The celebrations of the 25th of November, marked this year for the first time, give a positive opinion from Luís Marques Mendes, who argues that the date should be celebrated, even though it does not have the same weight as the founding date of our democracy, the 25th of April . On other topics, the commentator adds that there is a proposal to enhance the careers of non-teaching staff and also makes considerations about the most recent emigration numbers in Portugal, noting that in 2023 81 thousand Portuguese left: “These are very worrying numbers. 42% are qualified young people”.
