Thirty-nine-year-old Rinson Jose disappeared last week during a business trip to the US. The man is the founder of a Bulgarian company that was part of the pager supply chain.

“Yesterday, September 25, the Oslo Police Department received a missing person report related to the pager case,” the police said. “This opened the case of a missing person and at the same time we issued an international arrest warrant for this person,” she added.

According to the Norwegian company DN Media Group, which employs José, the man left on September 17 for a conference in Boston. However, since September 18, the company has not been able to contact him.

In 2022, Jose founded Norta Global Ltd. in the Bulgarian capital Sofia. Bulgaria therefore investigated the role of this company in the supply of pagers, but found no evidence that they were manufactured or exported from that country.
