Renault has managed to make the electric Megane E-Tech Electric and Scenic E-Tech Electric cheaper than last year by 2025, despite the fact that €667 in bpm will now be included in the prices. Unfortunately, not every Renault model will become cheaper in 2025. This is of course due to higher BPM rates, but also due to higher preparation costs. For example, the Renault Clio with a 91 hp 1.0 TCe becomes €1,400 more expensive. If you go for a Clio with an LPG engine, you should expect a €800 higher price. Renault Clios with a mild-hybrid petrol engine have been €600 more expensive since January 1. The Clio is now available from €25,490. That price applies to both the Clio with a 91 hp petrol engine and the Clio with a 100 hp Eco-G machine. Captur, Symbioz and Arkana And the Captur? That will also become more expensive. The prices of the variants with a 91 hp TCe 90 petrol engine will increase by €1,300. Would you prefer a Captur with Eco-G that likes both petrol and LPG? Then there is good news. It is now also available as a cheaper Evolution and costs €30,390. The existing Techno version becomes €1,400 more expensive and now costs €32,690. A mild-hybrid Captur with a 158 hp Mild Hybrid 160 drivetrain with automatic transmission will become €2,100 more expensive and now costs at least €37,690. Are you going for a fully hybrid 145 hp Captur? Then you have to bring €700 more to the dealer than last year: at least €32,690. If you prefer a Captur with a larger size, there is the Symbioz again, although you will pay €700 more for that hybrid crossover than before (at least €35,190). The always 145 hp hybrid Renault Arkana is € 1,100 more expensive across the board and is now available from € 36,290. Austral, Espace and Rafale There is no shortage of SUVs and crossovers at Renault. If you find the Symbioz and Arkana too tight, you can of course go to the Austral. The Austral party starts with the 130 hp mild-hybrid variants. These will become €900 more expensive (from €40,090). Would you prefer a 160 hp mild hybrid with automatic transmission? Then you now spend €1,600 more than before (at least €44,590). The fully hybrid Australs with 200 hp will be €500 cheaper or €100 more expensive, depending on the version. For those who find the Austral too small, Renault has the Espace on offer. The always 200 hp fully hybrid Espace will be € 1,300 more expensive (from: € 47,890). Unless you go for a five-seater version of the Espace such as Espirit Alpine or Iconic. They have only become €100 more expensive. The brand also asks a little more for Renault’s absolute top model – the Rafale. At least, if you go for the 200 hp hybrid variant. It will be €1,800 more expensive. The prices of the 300 hp plug-in hybrid top version remain unchanged.
