Nothing encourages users to 3D print their own accessories

In an innovative way, Nothing has been introducing new products, standing out for the creativity associated with them. With the launch of the Phone (1) from its CMF, the company decided to reveal the details of the smartphone, giving users the opportunity to create and 3D print their own accessories.

Nothing's catalogue already has a series of products, the most recent being the Phone (1) from its CMF brand. Like the ones we already know, the company focuses on creativity, distancing its devices from the sobriety of other models and giving them modular characteristics.

If this is not enough for its users, the company released detailed documentation about the physical dimensions of the smartphone, encouraging users, as well as creators, to design accessories. Those interested have at their disposal, not only the dimensions, but also .stl and .stp files of the back of the smartphone.

In fact, from amateurs to experts, this documentation can be a valuable resource.

Some members of the Nothing community have already started experimenting with 3D printed back covers. Their creations go beyond changing the colors of the CMF Phone (1), of course. Here are some examples:

Accessories include, for example, ergonomic handles and wallets that meet the specific needs of each user. However, the sky is the limit.

While Nothing promotes creativity, it assures that it is not responsible for any compatibility issues or damage caused by unofficial accessories.
