Nothing Phone 2a Plus: X post with Pokemon reveals it’s in the works

In March, Nothing released the Nothing Phone 2aone of its most affordable phones and now it looks like it’s working on one Nothing Phone 2a Plus.

The company recently advertised the project with an image of the Pokemon Mega Aerodactyl in X and then posted a plus sign. To some, this might seem like a no-brainer, but it’s actually a teaser for a Nothing Phone 2a Plus.

Nothing uses creatures from the world of Pokemon for the codenames of its devices, and the Phone 2a was called Aerodactyl. In the Pokemon series, Mega Aerodactyl is an evolved Aerodactyl. This pretty much suggests we’ll be seeing an advanced phone 2a, and with the plus sign in the X post, it likely means a Nothing Phone 2a Plus is coming.

Also, this interpretation is confirmed by the Indian mobile operator Jio, which has listed a Nothing Phone 2a Plus in its database, as revealed by technology journalist Mukul Sharma.

Nothing Phone 2a Plus: X post with Pokemon reveals it’s in the works

There have been no leaks on the Nothing Phone 2a Plus specs or anything, but it is possible that the phone will offer a stronger performance. The Phone 2a already has a large 6.7-inch screen, so the Plus version is unlikely to be called Plus because of a larger screen.
