The penultimate month of this year started in the worst possible way. On the first day of November, ten minutes before noon, suddenly, thunderously, with a cloud of dust and a few moans, the concrete canopy at the Railway Station in Novi Sad collapsed. On that occasion, 14 citizens were killed, while three were seriously injured.
After last year’s tragedies and accidents, it is clear to every person that this is too much. That it is necessary to determine more decisively the circumstances of the loss of innocent lives and to call to account all those who violated procedures, that is, regulations and the law. Pushing such actions and principles under political or party tents or in front of police cordons insults the accident victims, their relatives and all decent citizens of our community.
What will be the epilogue in terms of responsibility, criminal and political, I don’t want to guess, but I expect that, nevertheless, there will not be too many calculations that could complicate the overall situation.
The only thing I’m afraid of is the “hot” and harmful media, which are our long-term misfortune, whose editors and analysts make all kinds of projections, confusing and insulting citizens. They do this without a shred of shame by trashing the supposed professionals and “guardians” of democracy.
INSERTED ELEMENTS
Adding salt to the wounds of the accident at the railway station in Novi Sad, all kinds of spins from the already mentioned shameful media, but not only them. It is thus qualified that at the large protest meeting on November 5 in the capital of Vojvodina, the general impression was spoiled by “inserted elements”.
And if we were living in the time of “Informbiro”, more care would be taken to name the assistants of the UDBA and the police in a way that people could understand them. And the City Hall in Novi Sad was not broken, messed up and humiliated by: chrome, boron, aluminum or lithium, but by masked hooligans who were absolutely allowed to behave the worst possible way.
Of course, it is neither a good nor an original idea to spill feces from a tractor tank, or as it has been said lately, water from Zrenjanin into the premises of the oldest building in that city.
All this says that we have to get serious about a lot of things and give police badges on the back to police officers and not to people who will abuse them and harass citizens with them.
COME ON DONALD
It is not the first time that we have been forced to go through unpleasant, but also numerous other current topics that NOVEMBER served us before the opening of agrarian topics. Still ignored climate change, for example, in Spain at the end of last month and at the beginning of this month, manifested through unforgettable fires, took more than 200 lives…
Of course, we couldn’t skip the presidential elections in America, where Donald Trump won convincingly. Our man, what the majority of citizens would say. If so, then it won’t be long before it is confirmed!?
Until recently, I thought of the “Barber of Malca” unique in terms of the number of days during which he eluded the pursuit of special police forces, i.e. in the area of Knjaževac and Niš.
Unfortunately, a certain Alija Balijagić (65), armed with a hunting rifle, has been successfully hiding in the area of the municipality of Prijepolje for days.
He is suspected of having killed a brother and sister of the local Madžgalj subfamily in the village of Sokolac near Bijelo Polje in Montenegro before arriving in Serbia.
I have repeated several times that our beautiful villages are subject to all kinds of bad situations and events. Those who claim that it is the most ordinary “bite” of a mosquito are not telling the truth.
Komit games in our ancient times, i.e. the villages, simply bring them back to the Turkish and other evil times when the locals had to lock themselves up and tie their dogs to the gates with the first sunset.
FAIR FOR THE SELECTED
As in the movie “High Heels”, everything was sizzling at the end of September and in November at the Third National Food Festival of the company Delez Serbia. Under the roof of the renovated Sava Center, and according to the information service of the company, about 30 selected suppliers from all over Serbia exhibited their products.
By the way, in that group of lucky people, there are about 250 small, medium and larger farms that last year ordered over 58,000 tons of fruit and vegetables to the MAXI trade chains. I am sorry that this fair was not at the Fair, because both producers and consumers come there as if to some kind of temple. In large numbers, carefully and with interest in every little thing and innovation.
However, it is good that traders, at least once a year and at a time of suspicion for an incorrect attitude towards consumers, open their doors to agricultural producers, that is, suppliers as they are called. There is also something to see and learn.
This food festival of a reputable trading company drew attention to their emphasized desire for cooperation with scientific and professional institutions in order to achieve the highest level of safety and quality of agricultural products offered to consumers.
NO ONE TRUSTS ANYONE
In addition to the one-year efforts to fulfill the agreement on subsidies of 17,000 dinars for certified seeds per hectare, the whole story has finally been “settled” into the sixteen-yard box.
The agreement did not fall through, but the relevant Ministry decided to start paying that subsidy from November, but in the amount of 10,000 dinars.
Many paors agreed to this amount because of their penury, while a number of them still believe that it will return to the amount agreed in November at the famous meeting of paors and representatives of the Government of Serbia in Kisac.
But, in all this story and outsmarting, one item caught my attention. Namely, those farmers who want to accept the offer of 10,000 dinars must emphasize in writing (electronically) that they will not file a lawsuit due to this new circumstance.
This bureaucratic gaffe best describes the relationship, trust, understanding and respect between farmers and their relevant institutions. No one trusts anyone! Aphorist Aleksandar Čotroć would say. “Now even those who spoke nonsense are wisely silent”!!!. . .
