Ford has prepared a new Expedition model year 2025 for the American market, with a more modern exterior and interior look, improved technology, rear or all-wheel drive, as well as an off-road Tremor version.
The Tremor name is reserved for off-road versions of Ford vehicles, and in the case of the new 533 cm long Expedition, this variant increases the power of the standard 3.5 liter Ecoboost V6 engine from 400 hp to 440 hp and also provides 690 Nm of torque.
The all-wheel-drive Expedition Tremor has additional protection elements and orange accents, and the suspension and power steering have also been retuned. Ground clearance is 269 mm, and there are all-terrain tires.
The only transmission in the offer is a 10-speed automatic.
Among the many upgrades, the most impressive is the 24-inch panoramic screen in the interior. In addition, the Expedition comes with a number of other technical features such as the connectivity package. Since this family adventure vehicle is built for touring, BlueCruise, Ford’s hands-free highway driving assistance, is also present in this vehicle.
Google and Alexa voice assistants are also included.
Along with the modernized look, the Expedition’s big new exterior feature is the split rear doors. The modular tailgate is designed for seating or for use as a versatile platform.
2025 Expedition will will be available to order from October 24th and should arrive at dealers next spring. Pricing information has not been released.
