NOW marks five months of broadcasts this Sunday. Medialivre’s information channel started on June 17th – in position 9 of operators Meo, Nos and Vodafone – and Since then it has been conquering the Portugueseincreasingly demanding and eager for a differentiating project. In five months it grew 105.8%.
With a luxury cast, punctuated by recognized journalists and relevant personalities in national society, NOW sees itself as a channel capable of identifying consumers who do not see themselves in the information solutions available, betting on synergies with the teams of the newspaper ‘Negócios’, a leader in the economic area; ‘Sábado’ magazine, with its investigative journalism and current affairs reports; from ‘Record’, a reference daily in the sports segment, and from ‘Máxima’, a pioneer in the way it highlighted causes and themes linked to women, gender equality, inclusion, as well as in its approaches to fashion and beauty.
E new reinforcements will soon arrive. There are formats that debut and others that gain a new imagealways with an innovative approach and a commitment to rigorous journalism.
DEBUT
‘Astrolabe’ – Physicist Carlos Fiolhais and writer Gonçalo M. Tavares come together in this program presented by Patrícia Matos and made in partnership with the Portuguese Society of Authors.
‘Economy without borders’ – A new season of ‘Economy Without Borders’, in which Miguel Frasquilho welcomes managers from large national companies who talk about internationalization.
REINFORCEMENT
‘Privileged Information’ – Rui Rio is back on NOW with another series of programs in which he addresses “big issues outside the froth of the day”.
Morning faces – Journalists Rodrigo Guimarães (from 5:55 am to 9:00 am) and Vânia Mateus (in a new news program from 9:00 am to 10:30 am) take over the direction of NOW’s mornings.
‘Record instantly’ – The NOW channel’s sports information program gets new graphics, will have more content and will feature summaries of the League’s games.
‘NOW at seven’ – The information space commanded by journalist João Ferreira, broadcast at the end of the day, before ‘Jornal à Noite’, will also gain a new image.
