Meta has announced the expansion of its intelligent assistant, Meta AI, to a total of 22 countries, including recent additions such as Argentina, Chile, Colombia, Ecuador, Mexico, Peru and Cameroon.
Additionally, Meta AI now supports several new languages, allowing users to interact in French, German, Hindi, Romanized Hindi script, Italian, Portuguese and Spanish across WhatsApp, Instagram, Messenger and Facebook.

With advanced editing capabilities, users can easily adjust images, adding or removing objects as desired. An “Edit with AI” button will be added soon to further refine these images.
Additionally, Meta AI now enables the creation of images directly in posts, stories, comments and messages on Facebook, Instagram, Messenger and WhatsApp. This functionality will be available in English initially and will expand to more languages and locations soon.
Advanced Math and Coding Assistance
The integration of Meta’s most advanced Llama 405B model to date offers enhanced reasoning capabilities to tackle complex math and coding questions. This enables Meta AI to provide detailed explanations and feedback on math problems, as well as support for debugging and code optimization. Meta AI on Meta Quest Devices
In addition to app and web updates, Meta AI will also be available on Ray-Ban Meta smart glasses and Meta Quest in experimental mode starting next month in the US and Canada. This assistant will replace current voice commands on Quest, allowing hands-free control of the device, answers to questions, real-time information, and more. With the Vision feature in Passthrough, users will be able to ask questions about objects they see in their physical environment.
For example, when planning a trip to Joshua Tree, a user can ask Meta AI about the weather and receive recommendations on how to dress appropriately for summer. Or, hold up a pair of shorts and ask what type of t-shirt would best pair with them. Information about local restaurants can also be obtained to enhance the travel experience.
