After the first NPO Listen Podcast Pitch, this public pitch will return to the public broadcaster this year. Ambitious, non-professional creators are given the opportunity to present their creative and original podcast ideas.
The winner may then work with one of the broadcasters involved to develop the idea into a full-fledged audio production for NPO Listen.
During the fourth edition of the NPO Listen Podcast Festival, the winner of the first Podcast Pitch was announced: Janneke Verbaarschot won with her idea for a podcast about the world of bingo. Her podcast, which delves deeper into themes such as loneliness and the social power of bingo, is currently being developed into a full-fledged production for NPO Listen together with BNNVARA.
Registrations for the NPO Listen Podcast Pitch are open from today via npoluik.nl/pitch. Submissions can be submitted until midnight on Friday 28 February.
From the entries, the broadcasters involved KRO-NCRV, HUMAN, MAX and POWNED select the best ideas for a pitch day in Sound & Vision in Hilversum. Four ideas will then proceed to the final during the NPO Listen Podcast Pitch in TivoliVredenburg on Sunday, March 23 in Utrecht.
