Nubia Flip 2 Design and Specifications Revealed

ZTE is reportedly working on a successor to its first foldable phone, the Nubia Flip 5G, which was released earlier this year. This new device, expected to be called Nubia Flip II, appeared on the IMEI database in August and was more recently spotted in the Chinese Ministry of Industry and Information Technology (MIIT) certification.

This new look at the certification offers more details about the phone’s features and design, giving a clearer picture of what we can expect from the foldable device.

According to the MIIT certification, Nubia Flip II will come with a 4225 mAh battery, which is slightly lower than the 4310 mAh battery in its predecessor. The phone will work with Android 14. On the connectivity side, the phone will support 5G NR NSA/NR, TD-LTE, LTE FDD as well as dual SIM dual standby, Bluetooth and GPS, AGPS and GLONASS technologies.

One of the notable changes to the Nubia Flip II is its larger second screen, which moves from the round design on the first-generation model to a rectangular design that now extends vertically. This move is likely to provide a more usable interface for quick interactions and notifications; This is a nice addition too. The secondary screen will be 3 inches in size and will have an AMOLED panel with a resolution of 422×682 pixels.
