In February, ZTE announced its first foldable, the ZTE Libero Flip, which hit the global market as the nubia Flip.
Now we have the first look at its successor, the nubia Flip 2 (NX732J), which has appeared on a certification list at China’s TENAA agency.
The Flip 2 will offer a redesigned look with a significantly larger 3-inch AMOLED screen with a resolution of 422×682 px. The external screen now has a rectangular appearance and not round like its predecessor.
It is flanked by two cameras, a 50MP main sensor and a 2MP auxiliary unit. There is also a round LED flash below the two cameras.
The main screen is listed at 6.85 inches and is still AMOLED with the same 1,188×2,970 px resolution. The Flip 2 comes with a 32MP selfie camera built into the hole-punch notch.
The Flip 2 is said to measure 169.4×76×7.2(mm) in its unfolded state which is in line with the first generation Nubia Flip. The new device will be lighter at 193 grams compared to 214 grams in the current model.
The listing doesn’t mention the chipset, but it does confirm that the Flip 2 will come with 6/8/12GB of RAM and a 4,225mAh battery.
