Smartphone
The Nubia Z70 Ultra is set to set new standards in smartphone design with its full-screen display, variable aperture optics and the AI-based Nebula AIOS platform.
Nubia has introduced its new flagship with the Z70 Ultra. The smartphone has a so-called true full-screen display without visible cutouts. The entire display, including the area around the under-display camera, has a pixel density of 430 PPI. A refresh rate of 144 Hz and a maximum brightness of 2,000 nits should ensure good readability even in intense lighting.
The manufacturer particularly highlights the new camera optics, which are based on a bionic lens. This is intended to mimic the behavior of the human eye and offer a variable aperture between f/1.59 and f/4.0. According to Nubia, this enables high-quality close-ups, precise document recordings and creative lighting effects. The camera uses a Sony IMX 9 sensor with optical image stabilization.
The new Snapdragon 8 Elite works inside, complemented by LPDDR5X RAM and UFS 4.0 storage. The battery with 6,150 mAh capacity should guarantee a long running time thanks to modern anode technology.
With the new Nebula AIOS operating system, Nubia wants to create a user-friendly AI environment. According to the manufacturer, functions such as real-time translation should offer practical advantages for both business travelers and everyday life.
