In the modern world, ecological transport is becoming imperative for building a sustainable future. As we face the challenges of climate change and pollution, switching to green modes of transportation is a key strategy for reducing harmful gas emissions and preserving the environment. In this issue, we explore innovations in the field of electric vehicles and the development of infrastructure that supports ecological transport.

Jožef Zoltan Magyar, Ambassador of Hungary to Serbia, spoke to the Energy Portal Magazine about environmental goals and plans for a sustainable future. The same as the fact that Hungary has significantly reduced greenhouse gas emissions, and that it is ambitiously moving towards climate neutrality.

We talked about the transformation of traffic in Serbia and plans to expand the network of chargers for electric cars with Miroslav Alempić, Assistant Minister for Road Transport, Roads and Traffic Safety. Milorad Kilibarda, Ph.D., full professor and dean of the Faculty of Transportation at the University of Belgrade, explains how important good planning and construction of logistics centers is and how this can affect the reduction of pollution from traffic.

Changes are taking place in the traditional thermal energy sector and a new era of electricity production is beginning. The first solar power plant is being built in the Nikola Tesla A complex. We talked about this project with Saša Đorđevič, head of the energy efficiency department of “Elektroprivreda Srbije”.

On the way to a sustainable future, renewable energy sources play an indispensable role. That is why we present to you the new project of the company MT-KOMEX, a reliable partner in the transition to a greener Serbia.

Every well-built solar power plant is based on a previously carefully prepared project, and such dedication is provided by the expert team of the CEEFOR company, more about that in this issue.

We also recommend stories about talented people and their inventions, which we regularly write about in the section People and Challenges. There is also our new column – Learn, which brings a handful of interesting and interesting texts about new technologies, environmental initiatives and individuals who are changing the world around us.

Join us, get informed and find out how together we can contribute to a cleaner and healthier environment through environmentally friendly means of transportation.
