Nuovo Laowa Ranger 16-30mm T2.9 FF Compact Zoom Standard e Lite

With the performance of cameras making them true digital cameras, the market for cinema lenses has flourished, offering features optimized for video shooting. Laowa has also found a place in this segment, with an entire family of lenses capable of covering full frame sensors and called Laowa Ranger Compact Cine Zoom FF.

Laowa Ranger 16-30mm T2.9

Now a super wide-angle zoom is added to the series, the new one Laowa Ranger 16-30mm T2.9. Characterized by constant aperture, this lens has a maximum angle of view of 107° and parfocal design (practically imperceptible focus breathing), but maintains a fairly compact body, with a weight of 730 grams for the Lite version and 799 grams for the standard one. The minimum focusing distance is 33 cm.

Being a Cine lens it integrates toothed ring nuts for using external zoom and focus systems. The position of the rings is the same for the whole family and allows you to change optics without having to modify the system.

Optics is born with PL/EF attack interchangeable mounts included, but optional Canon RF/ Sony E/ Nikon Z/ L-Mount (Sigma, Panasonic, Leica) mirrorless mounts can be ordered.

Together with the brothers Laowa Ranger 28-75mm T2.9 e Laowa Ranger 75-180mm T2.9the new lens forms a trio capable of covering focal lengths from 16 to 180 mm with a constant aperture with 11x zoom.
