Another collaboration was established between the two companies.
Microsoft and Nvidia strengthened their partnership, as a result of which the people of Redmond integrated the company’s cloud-based gaming service, named GeForce Now, into the pages of Xbox games. Its embed allows users to select whether they want to use Xbox Cloud Gaming or Nvidia’s GeForce Now on the supported games tabs.
At the time of writing these lines, the new “Play with cloud” button has not yet been activated, so it is not yet clear whether it is essentially just a link that leads to the main page of GeForce Now, or by clicking directly on it, we will be able to start the supported game via Nvidia’s cloud-based service .
The current integration is another step towards closer cooperation between the two companies. As you know, Xbox and Nvidia previously entered into a 10-year deal that allowed Nvidia to license Xbox PC games through GeForce Now – including titles from Activision Blizzard.
Nvidia also released an update earlier this year that allowed members to sync their Xbox account and Microsoft Store purchases with the cloud gaming service.
The announcement was made by the people of Redmond in a Twitter/X post.
