DAPURPACUID – Pertamina VR46 Racing Team has officially become Ducati’s main satellite team in the premier MotoGP class for the 2025 racing season, following the announcement of an agreement between the two.
For the Tavullia team, the agreement with the Borgo Panigale-based manufacturer is the best achievement since making its MotoGP debut in 2022.
According to the agreement that has been signed, this multi-year contract will provide several benefits for the team, namely several new technicians from Ducati.
Not only that, Marco Bezzecchi and Fabio Di Giannantonio will also ride the new Desmosedici GP24 motorbike, as used by the current factory riders.
The signing of this agreement is considered the latest achievement of the Made in Italy synergy. Ducati’s increasingly positive performance in each series is certainly the best provision for Tavullia.
Pertamina Enduro VR46 Racing Team Director, Alessio Salucci, said he was proud of the agreement, which was the best achievement for the team.
“We will be on the track with the official GP24 bike. If someone had said this a few years ago, I would not have believed it,” he said in an official broadcast.
“This is a very meaningful moment for the whole team: achieving this result in just three years, with a young team, with many who have been with us from Moto3, is something extraordinary.”
Salucci also appreciated the team, partners, especially Pertamina Lubricants, Ducati and Gigi Dall’Igna for entrusting this project and successfully developing it.
“We face challenging years ahead, but we look forward to testing ourselves and trying to achieve even more ambitious results.” (dpid/TH)
