Official: Revamped Porsche 911 GT3

The renewed 992.2 911 GT3 is presented by Porsche, with the car bringing new LED lighting bodies and new bumpers and inside the most important change is the existence of a digital instrument panel, but also the new carbon bucket seats with folding backs and a heating system.

Mechanically, it still wears the naturally aspirated 4.0-liter flat engine that produces 510 horses with 450 Nm of torque. The engine has a rev limit of 9,000 rpm and allows the car to do 0-100 km/h in 3.4 seconds with the 7-speed automatic transmission or 3.9 seconds with the shorter manual 6- speed box.

It does 0-160 km/h in 7 seconds (7.9 seconds with the manual transmission) and 0-200 km/h in 10.8 seconds (11.9 seconds with the manual transmission). Top speed with the automatic transmission reaches 311 km/h, while with the manual it is 2 km/h higher.

The front suspension has been improved, while changes have also been made to the splitter, diffuser, bonnet and air intakes. There are new Michelin tires measuring 255/35 R20 at the front and 315/30 R21 at the rear, with the new tires said by Porsche to provide improved wet grip, while there are optional track and road tires as well. .

For the first time, the 911 GT3 gets a Weissach package consisting of a roof, anti-roll bars, drop links, shear panels, end plates, roll cage and mirror caps made of carbon fiber, while it also features magnesium wheels.

The 911 GT3 weighs 1,420 kg and is still offered in a Touring version without the large rear spoiler and with rear seats, while there is the Leichtbau (lightweight) package for the GT3 Touring which includes the carbon suspension parts from the Weissach package, the carbon roof painted in the color of the car, as well as the magnesium wheels and the shorter shifter from the 911 S/T.
