“It is an image that covers the behavior and attitude of Marin Preda in the era, in political situations. I tried to understand, to intuit his itinerary and I tried to illustrate this essential journey, but using fiction. I liked the idea of making a film about those times that are now largely ignored; many events that happened then or soon after, catalyzed by those moments, influenced the decades that followed, and we still feel their repercussions.”said the director.
