Olaf, voiced by Josh Gad, became one of Disney’s most popular characters immediately after the premiere of Frozen (2013). However, one thing about the kind-hearted snowman has left Gadd with a grudge.
In his recent interview, Josh Gad has characterized Olaf’s voice as being very close to his own. If Gad could go back in time, he would draw the Frozen hero’s voice on a different note for practical reasons.
“I wouldn’t give that snowman my own voice. I would have done that role with a different voice. It’s really weird to be in a supermarket and see how my speech makes little kids’ heads turn,” Josh Gad said at the Fan Expo in Canada The Hollywood Reporter by.
“That was my first big mistake. However, I have been told that my voice is very unique. Apparently my voice is liked, so I try to share it whenever I can”.
Disney confirmed in August that Frozen 3 will premiere in 2027.
The return of Josh Gad as Olaf has not yet been announced in the church, but it seems pretty obvious.
Frozen 3 will be released in November 2027 – Finland may have to wait even longer
