New year, new program: Radio station Oldie Antenne, which can be received throughout Germany (including via DAB+), has repositioned itself – and will partly offer double moderation, among other things.
The radio program Oldie Antenne, which belongs to the Antenne Bayern Group and plays music from the 60s to the 90s, is reorganizing its programming for the coming year. As has now been announced, a new morning show will start in January, which will be moderated by Stefan Schwabeneder from Monday to Friday. Schwabeneder has previously been heard on the station’s lunchtime program and will in future broadcast between six and eleven o’clock. “Guten Morgen Deutschland” was chosen as the new name for the morning show.
Stephan Lehmann, also known as the stadium announcer for FC Bayern Munich, switches from morning to midday and from now on Mondays to Fridays from eleven onwards. The afternoon program is also being redesigned. Gerlinde Jänicke will be heard here from January. Jänicke had previously presented the evening program of the Oldie Antenne. It is unclear whether the evening hours will also be moderated in the new year. Since there is no mention of this in a media release, this cannot be assumed.
New oldie antenna program from 2025 – this is what it looks like
Viktor Worms will be on air much less often than before. He is giving up the weekday afternoon and will now only broadcast on Sundays at 3 p.m. Hakan Turan, previously the man for mornings and weekends at the weekend, will also have fewer appearances. From 2025 onwards he will alternate with Kathie Kleff on Sundays, and on Saturday the Oldie Antenne will create a completely new weekend show. “Schönes Wochenend” starts at six o’clock, runs for six hours and brings permanent double moderation on air for the first time in the station’s history – and, in a sense, the comeback of “Die Stefans”. “Nice Weekend” at Oldie Antenne is presented by Stefan Schwabeneder and Stephan Lehmann.
At Bayern3, where Schwabeneder used to work, he hosted a Saturday show that was actually called “Die Stefans” – at that time in collaboration with Stefan Kreutzer. So now he forms a duo with Stephan Lehmann on Saturdays. The new year at Oldie Antenne will start with a hit countdown. From midnight on New Year’s Eve, the station will play the most popular 2025 songs among its listeners. According to the MA report in the summer, Oldie Antenne has an average of 63,000 listeners per hour. The station can be received throughout Germany via cable, satellite and DAB+ – and of course as a web station.
