Oleg Gross hopes that soon his company will start doing worse

If the Estonian economy is doing badly, we are doing well as a rule, said Oleg Gross, owner of OG Elektra, who participated in the recognition of the companies of Lääne-Virumaa and Ida-Virumaa held in Rakvere on Tuesday.

On Thursday, in the morning program of Äripäva radio, we will find out from Gross when the Estonian economy could turn to growth, how the current recession differs from previous ones, whether consolidation is expected in the trade market and how the construction of a spa hotel in Viljandi is progressing.

With the Minister of Economy and Industry Erki Keldo, we will talk about the action plan for increasing the competitiveness of Estonian business, which the Ministry of Economy has drawn up for the next year and which consists of seven points.

As the series of recognition events organized by Äripäiv, Coop Bank and Telia Eesti, which took place in different regions of Estonia in October and November, ended this week, we will focus on life outside of Tallinn in the morning program. You can listen to the opinions of top managers and entrepreneurs of the regions, we will talk with Velvo Väli, the manager of Rakvere Teatr, about why there are so many theaters in Estonia, and we will discuss the future of county newspapers with the editor-in-chief of Virumaa Teataja, Eva Samolberg, who will turn 99 on Sunday.

The program day continues with five programs:

10.00-11.00 “Content Marketing Series: My Career”. In the show, we talk about the challenges of sales and recruiting sales people and how important a role a sales coach plays in a company. In addition, it will be discussed what values ​​are valued in Lindström and how the guests of the show, Renee Razumov and Rimma Semjonova, have reached their current role. 11.00 – 12.00 “Global look”. In the show, we talk about the US presidential election. Journalists Indrek Lepik and Pille Ivask discuss why the scandalous Donald Trump continues to appeal to Americans and what his new administration could look like. How seriously should Trump’s harsh words be taken? What have we learned from his previous tenure? We will also talk about this in the show.

Of course, we are talking about business mogul Elon Musk, who has promised to start cutting US bureaucracy and who has been in constant communication with Russian President Vladimir Putin.

12.00-13.00 “Real estate class”. Riigi Kinnisvara updated the manual of technical requirements for non-residential buildings, which covers all important technical aspects from building design to handover. The show will talk about the impact of these requirements on the architect’s work.

We talk about the development of technology and equipment, demand-based air exchange, planning electric car charging infrastructure and ensuring security of supply, gray water, optimizing water consumption, environmental sustainability and high-quality outdoor space.

Gert Rahn, project director of Riigi Kinnisvara, and Kadri-Ann Kertsmik, project manager for environmentally sustainable development of buildings, are visiting. The presenter is Siim Sultson.

13.00–14.00 “Business in Estonia”. In the broadcast series, this time we also traveled out of the capital and reached Central Estonia, where the company Neular operates. The company buys plastic waste from Germany and Finland, which is turned into construction material here.

In front of the microphone is company owner Ilo Rannu, with whom we compare the waste of European countries and talk about how Voimix margarine packets become terrace tables. The host is Eget Velleste.

15.00–16.00 “Investment portfolio 2030”. Tõnis Mänd, head of the crowdfunding platform Moneyzen, and Taavi Pertman, author and investor of the Rahaforum blog, will be visiting the show, with whom we will discuss the current state of the crowdfunding market and investors’ sentiments regarding portals.

We find out what are the bottlenecks of the portals from the investor’s point of view and why the performance shown in the statistics may differ from the real performance. We also talk about how to analyze the platform and which investor would be suitable to invest in crowdfunding.
