That thing is very important, because the Pink ribbon collection has started. The Cancer Foundation’s Pink Ribbon collection supports Finnish cancer research. This year’s theme is lung cancer. Rosa designed the ribbon Vesterinen With Ensembles. The collection started on 19.9. and continues until the end of October.
Olga Temonen, who herself suffered from brain cancer, has published a video in Instagram stories where she presents the beanie she received and the product line designed by Vesterinen Yhtyninene.
“Hey, I have a new beanie, isn’t that great? This is a hat from Fanni’s beanie and this is a gift from the Roosa rauh campaign to me.
Why…well…Then I have other things. Vesterinen and his band have done this, and this and scissors. (Olga presents the product range of the Pink Ribbon collection)
I think the pink ribbon campaign was already held yesterday, but I wasn’t at home, and I didn’t have time to update it. I couldn’t get hold of the whole package like that. But in spirit, that’s a good thing,” Olga says in her update on Friday.
With the pink ribbon collection, the aim is to raise a total pot of at least 4.2 million euros for cancer research.
The proceeds of the Cancer Foundation’s Pink Ribbon collection support research into all cancers in Finland. The collection started on 19.9. and continues until the end of October. The Cancer Foundation is Finland’s most significant private funder of cancer research.
Funds for cancer research have been raised with the pink ribbon collection since 2003. In addition to cancer research, the collection funds support the free support and counseling service offered to patients and their loved ones.
