DAPURPACUID – Along with its participation in this year’s GIIAS event, PT Chery Sales Indonesia (CSI) introduced the latest variant in the Omoda E5 range, namely the E5 Pure.
The presence of this latest variant aims to strengthen Chery’s position as the leader of the electric vehicle SUV market in Indonesia today. Moreover, currently, Omoda E5 has been absorbed by the market up to 3,000 units.
Carrying the ‘Pure’ label, it is said to reflect the essence of a pure electric vehicle. Omoda E5 Pure is priced starting at IDR 419.8 million and can be ordered at GIIAS this time.
Rifkie Setiawan, Head of Brand Department of PT Chery Sales Indonesia, said that Omoda E5 has proven itself as the market leader for electric vehicle SUVs in Indonesia.
“With the presence of Omoda E5 Pure, we want to provide an opportunity for more Indonesian consumers to experience an extraordinary electric driving experience,” he said.
On paper, the Omoda E5 Pure has the same advantages as the first Omoda E5 variant, namely a driving range of 430 km WLTP (Worldwide harmonized Light Vehicles Test Procedure) and 505 km NEDC (New European Driving Cycle).
It is also equipped with a sophisticated security system with 17 ADAS (Advanced Driver Assistance Systems) features for optimal driving safety, as well as ventilated seats for driving comfort.
The Omoda E5 Pure was developed to expand the market reach of its predecessor, which currently tops the electric SUV market in Indonesia.
Omoda E5 has successfully ranked first as the best-selling electric car in Indonesia in the first half of 2024. This extraordinary achievement proves the popularity and consumer trust in the quality and performance of OMODA E5.
