There was almost a tragedy on the section of the M5 motorway leading out of Budapest on Friday afternoon, when five loose horses ran onto the road – noticed the Facts published the video recording of this.
The animals a few minutes after a quarter past three in the afternoon a XX. they headed straight for the expressway through the parking lot of the district store. Two passengers of a car then noticed the hooves and immediately chased after them, while informing the police. With the hazard lights on, they followed them onto the highway at a slow pace. The driver got out at one point to see if he could steer the paribas off the road, but was unsuccessful.
The situation was finally alleviated by a truck driver, who caught himself and stood crosswise in front of the horses, thus blocking the road.
A Telex he wrote that based on information from the police, five horses galloped against the traffic on the M5 highway on the side heading towards Szeged at the height of Nagybani Piac on Friday around 1:50 p.m. Several police units of the Budapest Police Headquarters arrived at the scene, so they were able to herd the animals off at one of the exits. The horses were handed over to the horseman who arrived at the scene, who led them back to their pasture surrounded by the electric shepherd, and then the animals were placed in a closed paddock.
