A woman was injured in a traffic accident that happened in Crete, at 10 am on Monday (7/10).
Everything happened when the car driven by the woman collided with a truck on Skoulas street near the tax office of Heraklion, under unspecified circumstances.
According to information from cretapost, the collision was severe with the result that the unfortunate woman was trapped in the driver’s seat. Men from the fire brigade and the EMAK rushed to the scene and freed the woman and then delivered her to the ambulance of the EKAV.
The rescuers gave her first aid and took her to the Venizelio hospital with leg injuries.
