At the end of this month, one of only three Saleen S7 LMs will be available at RM Sotheby’s auction.
Pre-auction estimates indicate that this American supercar could fetch between $900,000 and $1,100,000.
The Saleen S7 was built between 2000 and 2007 in road and racing specifications, with 78 units produced.
The S7 in question is more special than most. In 2017, Saleen announced that it would upgrade seven existing S7 models to LM specification. However, only three S7s ended up being converted into LM models, and this car’s transformation was completed in 2018.
The car has an upgraded 7.0-liter V8 engine that delivers between 1,000 and 1,300 hp (depending on fuel and how it’s tuned) and 1,152 Nm of torque. A six-speed manual transmission sends all this power to the rear wheels.
Big changes have also been made in aerodynamics. New components include a large rear wing, rear diffuser, side skirts and a new chassis.
Key cabin features include Sparco seats with black leather and Alcantara, reversing camera, air conditioning and electric windows.
RM Sotheby’s is selling this Saleen S7 LM, located in Phoenix, Arizona, and states that it has covered just 3,688 miles (5,935 km) since the conversion to LM spec.
