One of Osama bin Laden’s sons, expelled from France for promoting terrorism

Omar bin Laden, Osama bin Laden’s son, was expelled from France after allegedly promoting terrorism online.

Omar bin Laden, the eldest son of former terrorist leader Osama bin Laden, has been expelled from France following an administrative decision announced by Interior Minister Bruno Retailleau.

The expulsion was motivated by statements considered to glorify terrorism, posted by Omar bin Laden on social networks in 2023, writes TF1 Info.

Omar bin Laden dedicated himself to painting

Omar bin Laden, aged 43, lived in the Orne department of France for several years, being married to a woman of British origin. Following the obligation to leave the territory, issued by the prefect of Orne, he left French territory, but the exact date of departure is not known.

The interior minister said that French justice had confirmed the legality of the expulsion and the administrative ban on entering the national territory would prevent Omar bin Laden from returning to France.

Omar bin Laden lived in France since 2016 and devoted himself to painting. In 2022, he organized several exhibitions, but recent statements brought him expulsion. Retailleau stated that the measure was taken in the interest of national security.
