Aston Martin Bulldog. Perhaps this name means little or nothing to some of you. A quick overview for the more distracted: it is a concept presented in 1979, ready to give life to a very limited series (10 or maximum 15 units) destined for very select owners. But no: fate wanted it to remain just the concept.
An unfortunate model not only because it was not produced: the intention of the English company was in fact to produce the fastest production car in the world, ready to break through the 300 km/h. We know how it ended. Well, after these and other vicissitudes the only Aston Martin Bulldog ever produced will once again be presented in person, on the occasion of the Pebble Beach Concours d’Elegance.
A long work
It took a lot of work to restore the square English coupĂ© to its former glory. 7,000 hours of restoration and 1,664 days spent at Classic Motor Cars Ltd of Bridgnorth, England. It finally returned to the United States, in the hands of its owner – entrepreneur and car collector Philip Sarofim – and is ready to be shown fully restored at Pebble Beachin the concept car and prototype category. Perhaps not the most expensive of the lot, but with a value of more than 1.3 million euros he will defend himself well.
