Miodrag Belodedici, affected by the deadly storm DANA: “Don’t answer my phone”
The former member of the Golden Generation lived intensely these days trying to find out as many details as possible about the killer storm DANAwhich has catastrophically hit Spain, and especially in the Valencia area, where the ex-Romanian international owns a house bought in the early 1990s, now lived in by his daughter. We remind you that Miodrag Belodedici played at that time for two seasons for “bats”, where he marked 49 games, without being able to score.
Fortunately for the Belodedici family, their daughter is currently in Japan, so she escaped the scourge from heaven. The apocalyptic floods have so far left at least 95 dead and hundreds more missing.
The Romanian Ministry of Foreign Affairs does not yet know anything about the fate of 22 Romanians, after the torrents hit the town of Paiporta, near Valencia, with great force. In the same way, Belo also has no details about a good friend in the area, who does not answer his phone calls.
Miodrag Belodedici lives most of the time in Romania, where he is employed at FRF, but his daughter lives in the family house in Valencia.
“Fortunately, my daughter is away in Japan these days. He usually lives in Valencia. He escaped the floods. But I have a friend who doesn’t answer my phone anymore. I will keep trying to find him. Something terrible happened in Spain. So many dead people…”, said Miodrag Belodedici for sportpesurse.ro.
