That the event would take place in January was more or less certain, but the exact date remained secret and was long speculated about. Now it has been confirmed directly by Samsung and it turns out that the latest leaks were right.

When is Galaxy Unpacked 2025?

The launch of the Galaxy S25 series will be one of the biggest mobile events of this mobile season and one of the first launches of the year. Previous leaks have suggested that new flagships from Samsung will arrive in January, and most in-the-know informants have said that we can more specifically look forward to the news on January 22, 2025.

It has been speculated more or less since the thin iPhone 17 began to be talked about, and until now it was not clear whether it would arrive as part of the premiere of the Galaxy S25 series, or later, under the guise of its own premiere event.

But the teaser for the upcoming Galaxy Unpacked clearly shows a quartet of phones, so the premiere of this thin phone in January is more or less a certainty. The Galaxy S25 Slim should be a full-fledged flagship, but in a thin and light chassis and will reportedly offer a 6.6-inch display, a Snapdragon 8 Elite processor or a triple camera with a 200 Mpx chip.
