One UI 7 now lets you choose which angle to invoke quick settings from

One UI 7 introduces several new changes to Samsung’s Android skin. It’s the biggest change the UI has seen in a long time. One of the most notable changes is the ability to separate notifications and “Quick Settings” in two different panels. In the latest beta for the operating system, Samsung now lets you choose how to access the quick panel.

In One UI 7if you go to the panel settings, you can choose to keep “Notifications” and “Quick Settings” together or separate them. If they separate, they will have each other two ways to access the quick panel: By swiping down from the right corner of the screen or by opening the notification panel and swiping left from the right side of the screen.

As is easily understood, these actions may not be so convenient for some Galaxy users. But it seems that the third beta for One UI 7 correct this oversight. The latest beta introduces the option to place the swipe-down gesture in the opposite corner. This setting is called “Quick panel on the left side” and is found in the panel settings.
