The company has also confirmed an international launch of the mobile phone.
OnePlus has now officially launched its latest mobile, the OnePlus 13, in China. The launch also confirms a number of the powerful specifications that have featured previously in leaks and previews.
Oneplus 13 one of the first, if not the first, launched model that uses Qualcomm’s new flagship processor Snapdragon 8 Elite, which is complemented by up to 24 gigabytes of working memory and storage space of up to 1 terabyte.
The Oled screen measures 6.82-inches and uses LTPO technology, which enables an adaptive refresh rate of 1-120 Hz. In addition to this, the screen has a resolution of 3168 x 1440 pixels with support for Dolby Vision and HDR+, as well as a brightness of up to 4500 nits. It also has an ultrasonic fingerprint scanner.
The camera module consists of three 50 MP sensors each: a main camera (Sony LYT-808), a telephoto lens with 3x optical zoom and optical image stabilization (OIS), and a super wide-angle camera with a 120-degree field of view.
The battery capacity is 6000 mAh with support for 100 W fast charging via cable and 50 W wireless fast charging. The OnePlus 13 also has wireless charging with magnets similar to Apple’s Magsafe, and two new accessories are presented: a small power bank that can be attached to the back and a charging puck with a built-in fan for cooling during charging.
It has also confirmed that the Oneplus 13 will be launched outside of China, but has not said anything about when it will be.
