The Chinese manufacturer Oneplus is expanding its mid-range with a new model in the well-known “Nord” series. The smartphone is now in its fourth generation and is said to be “absurdly good, supported by Oneplus Intelligence and AI,” as the company promises on the official website for the Oneplus Nord 4. The specs that will make this possible, as well as all information on price and release, can be found in the overview below.

The Oneplus Nord 4 is a 6.74-inch smartphone with an OLED screen that has a resolution of 2,772 x 1,240 pixels and a refresh rate of 120 Hertz. The maximum brightness is specified as 2,150 cd/m². Contrary to the trend, Oneplus has chosen a metal case for the Nord 4.
The Qualcomm Snapdragon 7+ Gen 3 processor works inside, and there is currently only one version of memory available: 16 GB of RAM and 512 GB of internal capacity, which is not expandable. A model with 12 GB of RAM and 256 GB of hard drive storage is currently only available in the Chinese market; Oneplus will probably decide whether to offer this memory variant based on the sales success of the smartphone.
The Oneplus Nord 4 uses a classic dual system for the camera with a 50 megapixel wide-angle lens with optical image stabilization and an 8 MP ultra-wide angle. Both sensors are Sony products. The 16 megapixel front camera is embedded for selfies.
The connection options include Bluetooth 5.4 and Wi-Fi 6, the wired connection is standard USB-C. This is used to charge the 5,500 mAh battery, the maximum charging power is 100 watts. According to the manufacturer, the Oneplus Nord 4 should last up to 17 hours of video playback.
Oneplus Nord 4: Price and release
The Oneplus Nord 4 is now available for pre-order on the official website. Instead of the recommended retail price of 599 euros, those interested in buying it will receive a discount of 50 euros; the description does not state how long the promotion will last.
This is probably also because the specific release date has not yet been set: mid-August is the approximate time frame given by Oneplus. In addition to the pre-order discount, buyers can receive one of four accessories for free. The selection consists of the Oneplus Buds 3 Pro, a 100-watt power adapter, a plastic case or a shoulder bag for the Oneplus Nord 4.
