The first flagship Android tablet, the OnePlus Pad 2 has arrived and is identical to the recently launched OnePlus Pad Pro for the China market with a 12.1 IPS LCD display, Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chipset and a 9,510mAh battery with 67W charging support but no charger in the box.
The OnePlus Pad 2 features a 12.1-inch IPS LCD display with a resolution of 2,120 x 3,000 pixels and a fast 144Hz refresh rate. The panel is rated at 900 nits of peak brightness and features a 7:5 aspect ratio.
OnePlus added a six-speaker setup and pen support through the OnePlus Stylo 2. OnePlus also sells a Smart Keyboard accessory for productivity tasks.
The Pad 2 is equipped with Qualcomm’s flagship Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chipset and 8/12GB RAM and 128/256GB storage. You also get Bluetooth 5.4, NFC and Wi-Fi 7 connectivity.
The tablet runs OxygenOS 14 based on Android 14, which comes with many OnePlus continuity features. Content Sync which by default syncs your photos and videos between your OnePlus phone and tablet.
There’s also clipboard sync and notification sync, as well as AI tricks like AI Eraser 2.0 to handle photo edits and Smart Cutout 2.0 for collages and stickers and AI Summary.
The OnePlus Pad 2 comes in gray and costs $550/€550/£500/INR 39,999. Open sales in the US begin on July 30, while Europe and India will get the device on August 1.
