OnePlus announced the OnePlus Pad 2 tablet for the European, North American and Indian markets. The tablet has a Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 mobile platform, a 12.1-inch 3K screen and six stereo speakers. The OnePlus Stylo 2 pen and the OnePlus Smart Keyboard are also available as accessories to make working easier.
The OnePlus Pad 2 is equipped with a 12.1-inch 3K screen with a 7:5 aspect ratio, 900 nit peak brightness, 3,000 x 2,120 pixel resolution (303 PPI) and Dolby Vision support. OnePlus Pad 2: the screen dynamically adjusts the refresh rate between 30 and 144 hertz depending on the content.
The OnePlus Pad 2 also offers surround sound with six speakers. In addition, the audio features of the OnePlus Pad 2 include Hi-Res certification.
By sharing the internet connection from your phone with the OnePlus Pad 2, you can synchronize media between devices. App Relay enables the use of the same application on two different devices. OnePlus has also brought the Open Canvas feature from OnePlus Open to the tablet. Open Canvas supports up to three applications simultaneously on a split screen.
The OnePlus Pad 2 is also getting a bunch of AI features a little later this year with a software update. AI Toolbox will have features that allow users to, for example, convert recorded audio to text and create summaries using Recording Summary. AI Eraser 2.0 works on a tablet for image processing, which can be used to remove unwanted objects from photos. Smart Cutout 2.0 can recognize up to three objects or groups of subjects in images, making it easier to cut, copy and share image content.
The OnePlus Pad 2 has a 9510 mAh battery that offers up to 43 days of standby time. With the 67-watt Supervooc quick charge, the battery can be fully charged in just 81 minutes.
The tablet is only 6.49 millimeters thick and the weight of the tablet with a metal frame is 584 grams.

Alongside the OnePlus Pad 2, OnePlus presents two accessories: the OnePlus Stylo 2 pen and the OnePlus Smart Keyboard. OnePlus Stylo 2 offers the feel of a real pen tip with the help of a linear motor. Thanks to the pressure sensitivity, the pen also offers a realistic writing and drawing feeling, according to the manufacturer. The OnePlus Smart Keyboard more than doubles the size of the previous touchpad, now offering a touch-sensitive area of 8,640 square millimeters. Thanks to the magnetic attachment, it also offers adjustable tilt angles between 110 and 165 degrees.
