Spanish soccer club Real Madrid will temporarily stop hosting concerts at its renovated Santiago Bernabeu stadium after residents complained about excessive noise.

The reigning champion of La Liga and the Champions League therefore postponed three concerts of Spanish pop artists from November to December. The K Pop Music Bank concert scheduled for October 12 has also been cancelled.

“This decision is part of a series of measures the club is taking to ensure strict compliance with current city regulations during concerts.

Real Madrid will continue to work to ensure that there are precise conditions for the production and broadcasting of sound during the concerts, which will allow concerts to be organized at our stadium,” the club said in an official statement.

The famous stadium, which was renovated for more than half a billion euros, has a capacity of 85,000 seats. In the past, the Rolling Stones, U2 and Bruce Springsteen performed at the San Bernabeu. It was reported by the AP agency.
