Responsible business as a sure path to success
The Deputy Secretary General of the Chamber of Italian-Serbian Businessmen (CCIS), Marija Antić, said that their activities are aimed at supporting and promoting startup companies in Serbia.
“We started cooperation with the festival in 2020 We Make Future which gathered more than 36,000 visitors in Bologna this year. I must admit that domestic companies had a notable performance at that fair. The presence of Italian institutions, in large numbers, at the mentioned fair shows that they are willing to cooperate with companies from our area”, said Marija Antić.
She added that the chamber intensively provides services to companies that are interested in the chamber’s activities, as well as that it works intensively on networking with companies from the field of digital innovations and other sectors.
“The Chamber has over 160 member companies, which operate in various sectors. The Chamber is an ideal place for companies to connect and gain contacts in order to achieve good cooperation”, she concluded.
Chief Innovation Officer OTP Banka Srbija Nataša Radjenović Zivanović emphasizes that the bank launched an innovation ecosystem last year OTP Connect.
“In the past years, the bank has cooperated intensively with startups and other members of the innovative community. We are the first corporation to cooperate with a startup. We have been dealing with this topic for many years, but since we had the need to raise it to a higher level, we launched OTP Connect,” she said.
She explained that OTP Connect consists of three zones.
As she said, initially we establish contact with startups and discuss cooperation, and in the second “business zone” we connect innovative companies with the bank and clients. The third zone, she points out, refers to community support through funds.
