The range is renewed Opel. In the 2025 we will see two new models and a major update. We are talking about the arrival of the Frontera and the new Grandland, while the Mokka will undergo a first restyling.
These three Opels share a lot, at least in philosophy. All three, in fact, are available both as mild hybrids and in 100% electric variants.
Opel Frontera
The heir to the Crossland is a crossover of almost 4.4 meters with a name that recalls the historic off-road vehicle sold in two generations also in Italy until the early ’00s. There Frontera has square lines and essential interiors, but the equipment is complete and the engines are mild hybrid and fully electric.
The mild hybrid petrol versions have a 1.2 three-cylinder engine with 100 and 136 HP (and can be requested with 7 seats), while the electric ones have 113 HP and a 40 kWh battery which allows for around 300 km of autonomy. A “Long Range” version will arrive during 2025 with a larger battery and range of around 400 km.

Inside we find the Pure Panel, a double 10″ digital screen for the instrument panel and 10″ or 16″ for the infotainment. The system is compatible with wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, offers OTA updates and includes an advanced voice assistant.
Comfort on the Opel is ensured by the AGR seats, now enriched by Intelli Seat technology which relieves pressure on the coccyx. The split rear seats (40/20/40) expand the boot, reaching a maximum volume of 1,600 litres.
Based on platform STLA Mediumon the Grandland we find 100% electric engines with batteries between 73 and 98 kWh and powers of 213 HP, 231 HP and 326 HP, with a range of up to 700 km of autonomy.
In the range there are also mild hybrid petrol versions with 136 HP and plug-in hybrids with 195 HP.

Minimal touches to the aesthetics and some new features for the Mokka. Among the main changes we find the new LED lights and updated digital instruments, with infotainment that integrates the artificial intelligence of ChatGPT. Some moldings and the shape of the steering wheel are also new, which reflects the look of the most recent models in the Fulmine range.
There is no news for the engines: the Mokka can always be purchased in the 136 HP mild hybrid and 156 HP 100% electric versions, with the latter allowing around 400 km of autonomy.
