Audi has opened orders for the new A6 e-tronthe electric sedan that marks a further step forward in the German brand’s sustainable mobility. Based on PPE platform (Premium Platform Electric), the A6 e-tron is available in two body configurations: the elegant Sportback and the versatile Avant. With an autonomy of up to 756 kilometers for the Sportback version and a charging power of up to 270 kW in direct current, the new A6 e-tron represents a point of reference in the premium electric car segment.
Thanks to a 100 kWh battery and a sophisticated thermal management system, the A6 e-tron can restore up to 310 km of range in just 10 minutes at an HPC charging station. Also, the time it takes to bring the battery from 10% to 80% is just 21 minutesa record in its segment. The sportiest version, the Audi S6 e-tron, stands out for its quattro electric all-wheel drive and two engines capable of delivering 551 HP.
Technology is at the heart of the new A6 e-tron. The “digital stage” inside the passenger compartment is dominated by a 11.9 inch Audi virtual dashboard and a curved central display 14.5-inch MMI OLEDensuring intuitive management of all the main functions. For front passengers, a dedicated 10.9-inch display is available, included in the most equipped versions.
The car uses the second generation of virtual exterior mirrorswhich improve aerodynamics by reducing the drag coefficient up to an impressive 0.21 (in the case of the Sportback). The electrochromic panoramic roof and the latest generation OLED rear lights contribute to making the A6 e-tron a car that is not only technologically advanced, but also elegant and innovative.
In terms of driving assistance, Audi has integrated a complete package of ADAS systems to ensure maximum safety and comfort, such as the e-tron trip planner, which automatically calculates the necessary charging stops along the route. Furthermore, thanks to the function Plug & Chargethe charging process becomes even easier and faster.
Audi also thought about flexibility with the introduction of the service e-tron switch. Those who need a vehicle with greater autonomy for long journeys will be able to use an Audi hybrid car for 15 days a year, thus maintaining the pleasure of driving without compromise.
The deliveries of new Audi A6 e-tron e S6 e-tron will begin in first quarter of 2025. Prices start from 74.500 euro for the A6 Sportback e-tron performance version and from 77.000 euro for the Avant. The sporty Audi S6 e-tron versions will be available from 99.500 euro for the Sportback and 102,000 euros for the Avant, offering a perfect combination of luxury, technology and performance.
