Almost all specifications of the Oppo Find X8 are available on the street. This is a relatively light and slim high-end smartphone, which nevertheless has a large battery on board. Photos of the device have also been leaked.

It won’t be long before Oppo unveils its new flagships. According to insider Anvin the Chinese launch of the Find X8 series will take place on October 21st. He also shared specifications and photos of the entry-level, the Oppo Find X8.
The device has a 6.5-inch OLED screen with a high 1.5K resolution and a refresh rate of 120Hz for smooth images. The bezels around the display are nice and thin, as you can see in the images below. They are also completely flat, where the Oppo Find X7 still had a curved screen. The new smartphone looks very similar to the Google Pixel 9 Pro from the front.
The Oppo Find X8 is said to be particularly thin at 7 millimeters. The weight of 190 grams is also not too bad, so the device should fit comfortably in the hand. Nevertheless, there is a gigantic 5700 mAh battery on board. It charges quite quickly at 80 watts. You can refuel battery juice wirelessly with a maximum of 50 watts. Thanks to the IP68 or even IP69 certification, the housing is highly resistant to dust and water.
The smartphone runs on a brand new MediaTek Dimensity 9400 chip. This promises to be one of the fastest processors on the market. You can also expect three 50 megapixel cameras, including a periscopic telephoto lens that offers 3x optical zoom.
In addition, the Find X8 would have an alert slider, with which you can set your sound profile. We know this from sister company OnePlus. There may also be a pressure-sensitive button, which resembles the recent action button iPhones. This allows you, for example, to quickly open the camera app.
Possible release in the Netherlands
The last few high-end smartphones from Oppo did not appear in the Netherlands. However, there is a good chance that the Find X8 will be available here. The Chinese company stated earlier this year that it wants to bring its flagships back to Europe.
We may hear more on October 21. In addition to the Find X8, Oppo will probably also release a Pro or Ultra variant. According to rumors, it at least has a larger screen and even better cameras.
