OPPO Reno13 comes with quad-curved OLED screen and 80W fast charging

OPPO is preparing to launch a new series of phones, the Reno13.

The phone has also already been listed on Indonesia’s telecom certification website, which confirm that global release is imminent.

The first appearance will take place in China this month, with the phones coming to the Indian market in January 2025.

A familiar design reminiscent of an iPhone

Leaker Digital Chat Station recently published a picture of what appears to be the new Reno13 alongside the iPhone 15.

It is clear from the picture that there are striking similarities in design.

With its flat edges and rounded corners, the new phone has a slim profile comparable to that of Apple’s device. Unlike it, however, the side frame is constructed from aluminum alloy.

List of specifications

The Pro version of the range will be equipped with a 6.78-inch quad-curved OLED screen and a 1.5K resolution.

Under the hood, the phone will have a MediaTek Dimensity 8350 processor and a generous 5,900mAh battery with 80W fast charging.

The rooms segment

On the back, the cameras are arranged in OPPO’s own style, with two lenses placed vertically and a third one next to them, alongside a circular flash module.

Unlike other models on the market, the camera island is perfectly integrated into the rest of the case, offering a minimalistic and fluid appearance characteristic of a modern design.

This detail increases the similarities with the iPhone 15, but the positioning of the cameras visually differentiates the two models. The main one is 50 megapixels and is accompanied by an 8 megapixel ultrawide sensor and a 50 megapixel telephoto camera with 3x optical zoom.

IP69 certification guarantees increased resistance to water and dust.

Artificial intelligence on board

The new series of phones emphasizes the integration of AI, following the current trends in the industry.

Availability

As planned, the OPPO Reno13 series will debut in China on November 25, and will also launch in India in early 2025, and pre-orders have already begun.

The series will include two models – one standard and one Pro – each aiming to offer premium experiences at competitive prices.

With a refined design, top specifications and focus on artificial intelligence, OPPO looks set to raise the bar in the mid-range segment of the smartphone market.
