The Italian media write that the debut of the Fiat Grande Panda on their market has been postponed to 2025. The Grande Panda was officially unveiled on July 11 and was supposed to launch in Italy by the end of 2024. However, to date, the Grande Panda has only been priced in France and the Netherlands.
According to the Italian AlVolante, a series of problems forced Fiat and Stellantis to postpone the arrival of this vehicle on the roads. According to the source, the problems appear to be related to the software of the driver assistance system. Stellantis technicians had to develop the solution just before the market launch, which slowed down production operations.
However, Italian media reports that now it seems that the problem has been solved.
As a result, orders in Italy for the new Fiat Grande Panda should be delayed until the end of January 2025. The first deliveries to customers in Italy are expected in June 2025, almost a year after the presentation of this car.
The prices for the Italian market have not yet been announced, so it is set to the announcement that the hybrid version (1.2 liter three-cylinder turbo mild hybrid with 101 hp) will cost “less than 19,000 euros”, and the electric version with 113 hp “under 25,000 euros”. (without subsidies).
