The police arrested four people from Chittagong, including Didarul Alam, the organizing secretary of Khagrachari district A.League and the former chairman of Sadar Upazila.
Among the four people arrested, the name of Zahir Uddin Feroze, the former general secretary of the District Chhatra League, has been revealed. The names of the other two are not known.
They were arrested from a restaurant in Chittagong’s Dampara area on Wednesday afternoon. Khagrachari Superintendent of Police Md confirmed the matter. Arefin Jewel.
The Superintendent of Police said that a team of the district police has left for Chittagong to bring the arrested persons.
