DAPURPACUID – Honda collaborated with Hot Wheels to launch the exclusive Honda Civic EG product at the 2024 GAIKINDO Indonesia International Auto Show (GIIAS) on July 20, 2024. This collaboration is part of Hot Wheels’ global campaign with the theme ‘Driven to be Legendary’, featuring special editions of legendary cars.
The Honda Civic EG was chosen as part of this collection because of its iconic model, known for its cool performance and design to this day. Honda Civic EG produced by Honda between 1992 and 1995, it is one of the most iconic generations of the legendary Civic model. A favorite of its time, this model featured aerodynamic body curves typical of a 2-door hatchback car resulting in a clean and sporty appearance, the elongated headlight and taillight design with rounded curves gave this car a classic look.
In addition, this car is famous for its tough performance and high durability, making this car popular among automotive lovers from time to time. Honda Civic EG not only popular in the Japanese domestic market, but also achieved success in the international market, including in the United States and in Indonesia it is known as the Honda Civic Estilo and Genio.
