“I have a message for these (pro-Gaza) protesters: When the tyrants in Tehran who hang gays from cranes and murder women who don’t cover their hair applaud and fund you, then you have officially become Iran’s useful idiots,” he said as thousands of protesters gathered around Congress.
Requests new military aid
“For the forces of civilization to triumph, America and Israel must stand together,” he said from the House chamber, to loud applause from Republican lawmakers. He urged the United States to provide new military aid to Israel.
Israel’s “victory” will also be a victory for the United States, the Israeli prime minister assured. “We are not only protecting ourselves. We are protecting you… Our enemies are your enemies, our fight is your fight, and our victory will be your victory.”
Tribute to Donald Trump
“I want to thank President Trump for everything he has done for Israel,” the leader said, while denouncing the “despicable” assassination attempt that targeted the Republican candidate.
