According to the head of personnel and communications of NPM Narva, Olga Zaitseva, the bulk of the employees who signed employment contracts are operators and engineering personnel, writes rus.err with reference to the Sillamäe Bulletin, noting that some of them completed internships at related enterprises or with equipment suppliers in Asian countries.
The construction work of the first stage of the plant has now been completed by more than 80 percent – a production building with a length of three hundred meters and an area of 20 thousand square meters has been built.
The first test samples of the magnets are planned to be released early next year. It is expected that the first stage of the plant will provide jobs for about three hundred people; this stage should reach full capacity at the turn of 2026-2027.
