The update will be available to those who use the services “Stencils”, “Bring to the top” or “Promotion in search”. At the moment, the card consists of various offers of similar products from other sellers. The innovation will make it possible to primarily recommend the seller’s product to buyers.
“Ozon expects that sellers will receive more traffic and attention from buyers, since competitors’ products will be displayed last in the card. An increase in the average order check is also expected, since buyers who need related products will first see offers from a familiar store,” the company noted.
The widget with the seller’s store name, rating and logo will also be updated – they will become more noticeable. Even those who do not promote their products will receive this functionality. A widget with bonuses, discounts and promotions from the entrepreneur will also be added.
Ozon says that promotion and advertising tools are popular — half of sellers use them. When using these services, they receive on average 8 times more orders, and the turnover is 6 times higher than competitors who do not work with promotion tools.
In September, Ozon launched an insurance policy for transport companies that fulfill orders through the Vozi Ozon service. This is the first online liability policy on the market with coverage of up to 10 million rubles.
