Former Chief of the Presidential Security Service Park Jong-joon, who is suspected of interfering with the execution of President Yoon Seok-yeol’s arrest warrant, appeared at the police station for the second time and returned home after being interrogated for about 14 hours.

Former Director Park said at 11:25 pm on this day, He met with reporters at the National Police Agency’s Serious Crime Investigation Department and was asked, “How are you feeling about the investigation?” to which he answered, “I am cooperating and participating with the investigative agency’s investigation as sincerely as possible. I explained everything in detail.” There was no response to questions such as ‘Do you admit to the charge of blocking the execution of an arrest warrant?’ and ‘Why did you express your resignation?’

Former Director Park appeared at 10 a.m. the previous day and was questioned for 13 hours. Former Director Park became former head of the National Security Agency after his resignation from the head of the National Security Agency was accepted during the investigation.

The Special Investigation Team of the National Investigation Headquarters of the National Police Agency is said to have inquired into what instructions were given to the National Security Agency, why the arrest warrant was not accepted, and whether the mobilization of regular soldiers was directly ordered.

Meanwhile, Deputy Chief of Security Kim Seong-hoon did not respond to the police’s third request to appear at the National Police Agency by 10 a.m. on this day. It has been reported that the special investigation team plans to apply for an arrest warrant.
