Parking in the garage at UKC will be free

BANJALUKA – The director of the Banja Luka University Clinical Center, Vlado Đajić, announced the opening of the parking garage at this health facility on October 3, the construction of which has been missed several times, and which will cost the citizens of Republika Srpska 42 million KM.

Đajić said that 560 parking spaces will be available in the first phase.

Parking will be free. We want to give this to our patients and citizensĐajić said.

He added that the parking lot will be opened in stages and that it is a building whose area is larger than the building of the Government of the Republic of Srpska.

As a reminder, the garage, when fully completed, should have the capacity to park 2,500 cars.

The original deadline for its completion was the beginning of September 2022, but it was extended several times after that. Also, the value of the works rose from the initial 35 million to 42 million KM.

The contractor is the company “Marković invest RM” from Laktaš.
